11th October 2018 - The Worship Team were out and about school today armed with cameras on the I-pads to see if they could capture our School Values in practice. They were delighted to come back with many photos of compassion, teamwork, perseverance, respect, honesty and reflection.

Reception class had a great time visiting Spetisbury Church today! They were excited to see all the different things the kind lady had to show them including the stained glass windows, the bell ropes, the very tall candles, the Bible and much more. Each child also had an opportunity to go up into the pulpit and see what it's like to see all their friends down below!

21st September 2018

Following a whole school assembly about the Jewish festival of Sukkot, the worship team quickly decorated our tree in the school foyer with fruit - symbolic of the time that the Israelites were in the wilderness for forty years under Moses. Preparing the fruit and decorating the tree was a lot of fun! Our headteacher, Mr. Brown, had to help us with hanging some of the fruit on the higher branches!

'Just to say how wonderful I thought your Sukkot ( not sure how to spell it!) display was on the entrance tree. I loved the fresh fruit and veg hanging from it, what a great idea.' (Feedback sent in by email)

Maunday Thursday 2018

The children from Years 2 to 6 all received a Bible from the Trustees of the school and the charity, Bibles for Children. All the children were delighted with them and enjoyed looking at the beautiful pictures and reading the familiar stories. With their Bibles all personally inscribed, we hope that this is a gift they will treasure for a long time to come.
